Abstract
Khadija (PBUH), as the first convert to the Holy Prophet (PBUH), has always been the focus of attention of orientalists in Islamic studies, and various aspects of her life have been widely reflected. Among the works that have examined the personality and agency of Khadija (PBUH), is an article titled: “Rereading the Marriage of Khadija (PBUH) and Muhammad (PBUH) as an Islamic Model,” written by Shadab Rahmatullah and Sara Ababneh (professors at the University of Edinburgh) and published in the journal “Feminist Studies in Religion” (October 2021). In this article, the authors have reexamined the personality of Khadija (PBUH) from a different perspective and with a multifaceted approach, in order to present a model for the lives of Muslim women in the modern era. Since any model must first be presented to the Quran in order to guarantee its prescription to the public, the present study has also compared and analyzed the aspects of Khadijah's (PBUH) activism in the authors' opinions with the model of female activism in the Quran using an interdisciplinary (sociological) approach and descriptive-analytical method. Khadijah (PBUH) in the aforementioned article. On the other hand, some negative approaches are also presented in their opinions based on feminist assumptions in line with the matriarchal attitude
