The writing at hand is dealing with the orientalists’ academic studies regarding the Quran. This debate is being formed by particular currents in western reflection which include the subjects such as historiography, analysis of texts, the studies in religion, sociology of religion, religious function and etc. the writer continues stating about the academic knowledge and its background and criticizes some of those accounts.
