The writer of this article incoherently and very briefly mentions the following characteristics of interpretation and its aspects in the present time. Following each characteristic, we will investigate some necessary and relating points. Generally, what the author has mentioned are as follows: ordinalinterpretation of the whole Quran in the traditional form (from the beginning of Hamd to Nas chapter), interpretation according to the sequence of descending, paying attention to social aspect in the traditions, partial interpretation of Quran which includes one or more chapters, paying attention to literary interpretation, thematic interpretation (ordered according to the topics), the attention of contemporary Quran researchers to fundamentalsand rules of interpretation, rational interpretation and the scientific interpretation of Quran. The points that the author has left out and the contemporary interpretations have taken into consideration are as follows: paying attention to the guiding and educational aspect of the Holy Quran, the striving movement of two interpretations, paying attention to the political and governmental aspects in Quran's interpretation (which is part of the interpretation according to the topics), the unity of subject in the Holy Quran, the unity of the subjects of the chapters of Quran (the relationship between verses and chapters), structural interpretation of Quran, paying attention to different interpretation methods and schools. An extensive investigation of this part will be presented at the end of the article.
