Blachere is one of the contemporary orientalists, who is a French national in a long introduction to a book on Qur'anic translation in French language, he made a wide research about Qur'anic sciences and history, and one of the most important topics that he torched in his research is the compilation of the Qur'an at the time of the prophet of Islam (P. B. U. H) and after his death. Blachere, in his writing shows that the compilation of the Qur'an during the time of the prophet was incomplete.
And he said that this work, after the death of the prophet was left as a personal work which has to do with the ideas of the prophet's companions, and at the time of Abubakr and Othman. They have done the work in accordance to the benefits of a specific tribe. These views, with regard to the orientalists ways of thinking in studying Islam and their own specific way of making researches, should be criticised.
