Comparative study of various topics between the Quran and the Old Testament is one of the most effective methods to answer the doubt of the Quran being borrowed from the Old Testament. On the other hand, reviewing the scientific references of the Holy Quran that are revealed through these comparative studies has always been attractive to scientific researchers around the world and makes every free-thinking person think about the origin of these scientific miracles. In the present study, the topic of "heavenly beings" in the Holy Quran and the Old Testament has been comparatively studied, and the similarities and differences in the structure and content of the two books have been stated in this regard. The results of the studies show that some of the characteristics mentioned for angels in the Old Testament are similar to the Quran and in some cases there are differences. The equality of God with angels is evident in many phrases of the Torah, which means that the verses of the Holy Quran are free from these polytheistic interpretations. One of the fundamental differences between the Quran and the Testaments is that, unlike the Testaments, which only mention angels as heavenly beings, some verses of the Quran contain indications (dābbah) that indicate the existence of living beings with a material nature in the heavens. Also, based on lexical and exegetical studies, as well as the narrations following the interpretation of the related verses, expressions such as “من فی سماوات” and “العالمین” indicate the existence of intelligent populations in other worlds, examples of which have not yet been discovered by human science.
